Set Up For My Self Portrait

Well this was my set up for my self portrait. I had a sheet taped to my wall partly covering the word "FREE" that was cut out of poster board. I had one flash to the left of the flash but it was closer to me. This  picture was taken before I got in the picture when I was just trying to get the lighting right. I didn't like how the flash was was too bright and it was just in one spot. So I decided that I should put some tissue paper around the flash to diffuse it and tone it down. The only color I could find was red, but I think it ended up working pretty well. I then brought down the flash power so it wouldn't be so bright. Even though I didn't really like the end product, I learned a lot.
